CS Wales are a group of committed surfers, who are also devoted Christians.   Our member’s represent a wide range of different churches to which they belong.  

Over the last few years Christian Surfers UK has grown dramatically, with hundreds of surfers contacting us, wanting to be more involved in our activities. Due to the extreme growth of surfing and of CSUK, the Wales (East) group was officially launched in January 2002.

CSUK is affiliated to Surf Ministries International (SMI), which is a worldwide fellowship of Christian surfer groups such as Australia and United States Christian S urfers , South Africa’s Son Surf Clubs and Surfers for Missions International , based in Hawaii

CSUK now organise and run one of Britain’s largest surf contests, ‘The Jesus Surf Classic’.   We hold a national conference annually to bring together Christian surfers from all parts of the country.

Our objective is a simple one, ‘to bridge the gap between the beach community and the church and spread the Gospel’.

Through the year we spend as much time as is practically possible, being a presence on the beach and in the water; we preach the Gospel and if necessary use words.

Through the summer months we arrange Open BBQ’s, where everyone is encouraged to come, bring a mate and have a great day at the beach.    The crew also meet up through the month and plan informal ‘Gatherings of the Troop’, where the activities range as far as the imagination is willing to extend.
