Powerboating and Motor cruising offers superb experiences- learning and using skills which will be an enjoyment for years to come.

Offshore Sea School offers practical and shore based courses for Powerboats and Motorboats form beginner to Yachtmaster and personal customised training.

We operate from Pwllheli on the picturesque Llyn Peninsular, our cruising ground can take us up to and beyond Anglesey, down the South Wales coast and even across to Ireland.

Courses run 12 months of the year, weather permitting, using either the schools hardbodied sports boat or Fairline Targa.

Anglesey Outdoors

The Anglesey Outdoor Centre is situated on Holy Island Anglesey between Trearddur Bay and Holyhead.

This area offers some of the best coastal activities to be found anywhere in the UK both on and off the water.  There is a rich array of wildlife and culture in the proximity and the variety of venues nearby makes the Centre an ideal location for a wide range of both educational and adventure activities.

The Lodge has a spacious, informal atmosphere. Being purpose built as an activity centre you will find all you need to make your adventure activity holiday a time to remember. 

The harbour at Holyhead provides an excellent venue for sailing and powerboat training, whilst Holyhead Mountain and its surrounding area has excellent climbing and orienteering opportunities.

Snowdonia National Park is a 30 minute drive from The Centre and gives access to the great mountains of Wales which makes AO an ideal location for a wide range of educational and adventure activities.

Swansea Watersports

Swansea Watersports is a family run business that caters for people of all levels of experience from complete beginner to someone looking to improve their skills, we are here to help you. Our courses are designed to develop your skills and introduce you to new skills subsequently helping your confidence and ability to grow.

We offer a range of activities on either a one-to-one basis or alternatively for a group, offer sessions to schools , companies and also private groups .

We run a variety of courses including powerboating , sailing , kayaking , jet skiing , first aid , sea survival , day skipper and yachtmaster theory. All of our courses are run around the spectacular Gower Peninsula from Swansea Bay to Loughor estuary. These venues provide fantastic views and also gives the best teaching environment in all conditions.

Swansea Watersports is based in Swansea Marina , in the Old Pilot House, opposite the lock. We are open 7 days a week all year around.

At Swansea Watersports we are committed to offering you an expert level of activity, with fun but with safety being paramount. We are RYA recognised, AALA approved and also a Ribeye prefered school !

Rainbow Sailing School now owned by David White (Principal) and Gareth Evans who between them have considerable experience in both Sail & Power along with fully qualified instructors offer sailing cruising courses and powerboat qualifications to advanced level with a wide range of adventure and mile building cruises along the Welsh coast, the West Country and across to Southern Ireland.
