Easily accessed from Swansea and with plenty of nightlife nearby, this is probably Wales' best urban surfing Llangennith Gower, A massive stretch of sand where you can usually find good waves. Newgale Pembrokeshire, Another beautiful long beach where overcrowding is rarely a problem and surf hire and lessons are readily available. Hell's Mouth Gwynedd, A four mile long bay which can get crowded but is big enough to avoid the worst of the surfing masses.. Rhosneigr Anglesey. There are two beaches here, Traeth Llydan and Traeth Crigyll, which are both worth checking on a good swell.
